Change Your NetID Password

If you already know your old password, are new to the university, or have been given a temporary password by the Help Desk, click here.
The NetID password must be changed every 90 days.  If you are suddenly unable to login to UMW systems or email, try changing your NetID password as it may have expired.

Change Your Student Email Passwords

As of July 19th, 2017, student email passwords are synchronized with the NetID password.  Changing your NetID will also change your student email password.

Set Up Or Manage Your Security Questions

If your account gets compromised or you forget your NetID password, you can reset your password using security questions. To setup or manage your security questions, click here.

You must know your UMW NetID and password to setup or manage your security questions – set it up BEFORE you need it.

Reset Your UMW NetID Password Using Your Security Questions

If you forgot your UMW password but have previously set your security questions, you can log in with your questions and then reset your password. Click here to login with your security questions.
If you do not remember your UMW password, and you have not set your security questions, contact the Help Desk to obtain a temporary password.

What is my UMW NetID?

Your UMW NetID is assigned to you by the University. Your NetID and password allow you access UMW systems, including Canvas, myUMW, EagleOne, Self Service Banner (SSB), and email.  It does not allow you access to Banner-INB.
